The mission of the Digital Biomarker Discovery Project (DBDP) is to unlock the potential of digital biomarkers1. We are motivated by the transformative potential of digital biomarkers, which can offer a more continuous and comprehensive view of health than traditional clinical measurements. However, the field of digital biomarker research faces several challenges such as lack of standard practices and transparency, making difficult for researchers to build upon each other's work and collaborate. DBDP is committed to overcoming these obstacles to make the discovery and validation of digital biomarkers more efficient and robust, ultimately unlocking their full potential.
Whether you’re a digital biomarker researcher or collaborator, or a healthcare administrator looking into digital biomarkers, or simply just curious about digital biomarkers, we welcome you!
We are a dynamic team passionate about
getting digital biomarker discovery tools into your hands.
We thank all our past and current contributors to DBDP.
Using DBDP as a case study, we explore and address the barriers to participating in digital biomarker discovery by exploring ways to create an evolving open-source ecosystem that can support and promote collaborative, translational research.
